SOFTWARE ENGINEER. SYSTEMS THINKER.

Small chips.
Big possibilities.

I’m Ahmed. I build the software that brings
hardware to life.

A LITTLE LOOK INSIDE

Every system starts
with a first instruction.

Before an application runs, a bootloader sets the stage. Step through a simplified firmware update flow.

A conceptual illustration, not a simulation of a specific device.

BOOT SEQUENCE01 / 04

> reset_handler()

A clean beginning.

The processor resets and enters the bootloader, which decides whether to update firmware or start the application.

STATE: RESET

02 / THE ENGINEER BEHIND THE CODE

Curiosity at the core.
Precision in the details.

My work lives where software meets the physical world: microcontrollers, vehicle networks, and the systems connecting them.

From underwater robotics to automotive bootloaders and communication stacks, I’m drawn to understanding how the whole system fits together.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Technical Lead · Communication & Gateway

I lead technical work for the Communication and Gateway domain, defining technical tasks, setting acceptance criteria, and conducting peer reviews.

My experience spans multicore ECUs, SOME/IP, Ethernet, FlexRay, LIN, and CAN, alongside system integration with other domains.

PREVIOUSLY / VALEO EGYPT

Automotive software, from the ground up.

Embedded Software Engineer

Bootloaders and flashing sequences, UDS diagnostics, secure boot and flash, and basic software integration for BMW and Valeo platforms.

Experience with Ethernet, SOME/IP, time synchronization, and CANoe-based validation.

2014 — 2019 / ALEXANDRIA UNIVERSITY

Communication & Electronics

B.Sc. · Faculty of Engineering

The foundation: electronics, embedded systems, and learning by building.
